COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will introduce the concepts of working in a web-based development environment, be it Linux/Unix or Windows. Over the course, students will learn the basic of Apache web server, programming in PHP, and MySQL relational database system. The overall goal of the course is to provide students with the foundation they need to understand how seamlessly these technologies integrate with one another and to give practical knowledge of how to integrate them.
 
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completing this course students will have skills in:
  • Configuring and Managing the Apache Web Server
  • Programming with PHP, assume no previous knowledge of the language
  • Using and Administrating the MySQL relational database system
  • Integrating these technologies
